Continuing with our Things to Do with Teens in Arizona series, today we’re featuring Two Hands Corn Dog in Mesa, Arizona. Fun food is always a great day out to spend with your teens. They can be bribed to leave their rooms and video games behind and spend time with the parents. In only a few years, they’ll be moving on so I cherish these experiences.

If your teens are TikTok fans, then they’ve probably been begging to try Korean corn dogs. I’m always up for fun food so we searched for where to go and found Two Hands in Mesa.

A Korean Corn Dog is covered in a sweet batter and the filling is sausage, cheese, or half and half. An American corn dog is a hot dog covered in a cornmeal batter.

Ordering options:

Choose your type first (basically the coatings) – classic, potato, crispy rice, spicy. There’s also the injeolmi dog.

Then the filling. You can go with sausage, cheese or half and half.

Finally, you can add spicy dust or sauce (mustard, ketchup, spicy mayo)

So what did we think?

We were both surprised by some of the flavor combinations. I admit I ended up loving them more than I thought. I went for a fun food experience for my son but I would totally eat there again. The prices were very reasonable too.

The classic with sugar surprised us both. It was delicious. It tasted like a fresh sugar donut filled with cheese. Which I would have thought was an odd combination but it was really tasty.

The potato also surprised me. Everyone has different tastes but it wasn’t for me. Lately, I’m all about potatoes – potato chips, roasted potatoes, and fries. Love them all. So I was convinced that would be the one I loved. I’m so glad we decided to order a few types and share so we could try all the combinations and decide what we liked – always a great thing to do when trying a new place and new food.

Also, the cheese pull! yes, it’s a thing for these corn dogs…not just for pizza. We were having too much fun and enjoying it that I missed photos. But yes, order at least one with cheese filling.
