Summer is approaching and as parents, we’re starting to think about how to keep the teens busy this summer? How to help them have their best summer ever? Time with friends and time in the sun. We’ve put together a list of 20 things for your teens to do for a summer of fun.

Watch a Sunrise

Summer Bucket List for Teenagers

• Attend an outdoor concert

• Play mini-golf

• Get the high score on a video game at the arcade

• Hike a mountain

• Perform a Random Act of Kindness

• Spend a day volunteering with a local charity. Take a few friends to join you

• Host an all-day movie marathon with a few friends

• Give an Ouji board a try

• Visit a nearby city that you’ve never been to

• Go to a drive-in movie theater

• Jump off the high dive at your local community pool

• Eat dessert for dinner

• Have a picnic lunch with friends at the park

• Have a water balloon fight

• Read a book. A real paper book (not an ebook). Visit your local library and browse the shelves to find your summer reading.

• Tie-dye t-shirts

• Cook dinner for friends

• Camp with friends in your backyard (or local campground)

• Go roller skating

• Watch a sunrise

• Be a tourist in your own city and take fun selfies at all the touristy spots

• Make home-made pizzas

• Try out a new hair color (with temporary dyes)

• Make a vision board for how you see yourself after high school

• Find the best wall murals in your city and take photos to share on Instagram
