Are you game family? Boardgames and cardgames – We love family game nights. We usually start with pizza or a charcuterie board and then snacks, lots of them. We always keep a stash of microwave popcorn and movie theater candy for our Family Movie Nights and Family Game Nights. A great way for family time and to get the teens out of their rooms and off their phones for a bit.
Card games are also perfect for travel for a road trip or camping trip. Easy to transport and you can play anywhere. We keep a few in the car because you never know when you’re going to have unexpected downtime. We keep a bag in the car with a picnic blanket, a few card games, and a Rubix cube.
Our current favorite is Monopoly Deal. It’s a relatively quick game with a bit of chance and a bit of skill. My son has been a very long-winning streek so I need to get luck back on my side.
