Family game nights are perfect for a fun night together taking a break from electronics. Family game night or teens hanging out. We always like to bring a few with us for camping trips and send along a few when my son goes to summer camp. The biggest hit with teens has been Not Parent Approved which is a more teen-friendly version of Cards Against Humanity. They even have a few expansion packs now which we need to add to our collection.
We’ve had fun with the Heads Up app. The convenience of the app means you’ll always have it with you. Definitely some generation challenges – my son didn’t know a lot of brands because he’s always DVR’ed or stream TV and has ‘missed out’ on a lot of commercials.
Our favorites include a mix of classics and new games.

I keep a huge beverage bin full of games that I can pull out to where ever the kids are hanging out around the house or the back patio. I also add a few things like Rubik Cube, Magic 8 Ball, and a few decks of cards. Our latest addition is the classic Simon, a 90’s flashback to my youth.
