Summers are HOT here in Phoenix. One of our favorite ways to stay cool is at Wet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix water park. It’s less than 10 minutes from our house so you kind find us there often. But even if you live farther away, its worth the drive. Definitely one of the best water parks in Phoenix. We purchase annual passes as do many of our friends – it’s a great place for the kids to meet up and the moms to hang out together.
New to Wet ‘n’ Wild for 2017 is Barefootin’ Bay, an exciting upgrade to Wet ‘n’ Wild Jr. The new attraction includes a 4,700 square foot pool, climbing structure and lots of seating for the family to watch and relax. It’s a smaller version of the Boogie Board Beach, but perfectly designed for the little ones.
Besides the new Barefootin Bay, Wet ‘n’ Wild Jr has a few water rides and splash pads design for younger kids,
After spending time at Wet ‘n’ Wild Jr, it was time to hit the rest of the park. Water slides, Boogie Board Beach, Crazy Cactus Roaring River (lazy river), Monsoon Bay (wave pool). My son can spend hours at Monsoon Bay and Boogie Board Beach. Together we love going on Crazy Cactus Roaring River and the water slides. In a few weeks Wet ‘n’ Wild will start their movie nights – you can watch a movie while floating in the wave pool – now that’s the perfect way to stay cool!
Here’s the exciting part. We are giving away 4 Wet n’ Wild Phoenix tickets so you and your family can keep cool this summer. *winner does not receive physical tickets, your name will be left at will call for admission on the day you choose.

You are so right! It’s tough staying cool here in Phoenix but the water park is a great way to do so! I also like trips to the library and the movies!
We can’t wait to check out the new area that opened! We’re keeping cool by swimming and headed out of town 3 times this summer. ?
Grandma’s house she has a pool and trips to the mall or movies.
My grandkids and I would love to spend a day at Wet N Wild!
Swimming lessons, sprinklers, and library programs
We are going to keep cool this summer by drinking lots of water, staying in the shade, and hitting the pool for some fun when it’s scorching hot outside!
As an AZ native I’ve always kept cool by staying in air conditioning anywhere I can find it and floating around in the pool. Now with a little one, entertaining her in this heat is a little more challenging, so swim lessons are the plan. The new area at Wet N Wild sounds like something I need to check out!
We keep cool by staying inside! 🙂 Wet n wild would be a great way to be cool outdoors!
I take my daughter to the movies or a trip to the mall as long as I get a pretzel ?
Swim, swim, swim!
