Wow, such a spectacular event! Saturday I attended Tempe’s Fantasy of Lights parade followed by their Tree Lighting ceremony. So much fun and such a perfect holiday event. This was my first year attending and I didn’t realize how huge of an event this was – definitely will be back next year.
First was the Fantasy of Lights parade. Floats, cars and groups walking the parade path with festive lights and music. Businesses, firefighters, clubs, marching bands, dance troupes, girl scouts and more. Leading off the parade was the Mayor Mark Mitchell, Town Council Members, and the Grand Marshall – ASU’s Sparky, all riding in lighted 3 wheel bikes.
