Lego Advent Calendars – A Family Christmas Tradition

By: Dana Michele

We love having holiday traditions in our family especially for Christmas. One of my favorites is Lego Advent Calendars. I’ve always loved Legos – I even bought myself the Research Institute set last year (a present to myself). My son is also a huge Lego fan. Lego has three versions of Advent Calendars – Lego City Advent Calendar, Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar and Friends Advent Calendar. We’ve done both Star Wars and Lego City.

VERY IMPORTANT – they sell out quickly and once its December they’re impossible to find (unless you want to pay a marked up resale price).  You’ve been warned…

Each set comes in a box that has 24 slots each containing a mini lego toy that can be assembled. The box also is the backdrop for the scene that you create over the next 24 days.

Which Lego Advent Calendar would your kids love?
