Christmas Holiday Home Tour

By: Dana Michele

Its that time of year again and one of my favorite for decorating the house. For Christmas, I go a little more out with the decorating throughout the house. Other holidays are limited to the mantel and table centerpiece but not Christmas – the tree (of course), outdoors, and little accents through the entire house.

Christmas Home Tour Russian Wood Carved Santa

I have some special decor pieces I’ve used for years like this Russian wood carved Santa.

I have a HUGE container of red, white and silver Christmas ornament balls that I’ve picked up over the years on clearance. When its time to decorate I filled up glass jars and trays. I also tuck a few into my current decorations like my wall of photo frames and my basket of woven balls.

Department 56 Snow Village

Anyone else a Department 56 fan? I’ve been collecting Snow Village for years. Each year we pick out a few to display.

Holiday home tour Christmas pillows

Love holiday pillows. If space wasn’t an issue I would have a lot more because they take up so much room when it comes time for storage.

Christmas always extends outdoors. Garland around with door with a wreath. The JOY sign is new this year – picked it up from Target along with a few other things. I felt adding a pillow and blanket to my patio bench added a feeling of warmth. Plus lots of lights of course – around the trees and along with roof line.

Next up – Valentine’s Day but not until February.
