Santa has gone high tech – my son loved all the techie additions to the Santa experience. Photos are digital too so besides the printed photo we were emailed a link to all his photos and his very own elfie video.
Don’t want to wait in long lines? No worries, just for any HGTV Santa HQ location (in Arizona that’s Chandler Fashion Center and Scottsdale Fashion Park) and take the express lane when you arrive. We visited during the week so there wasn’t much of a wait but Santa can get busier on weekends as Christmas nears.
The HGTV Santa HQ experience begins with checking to see if you’re on the Naughty or Nice list. Luckily, my son made the Nice list.
Next up a few photos with a themed holiday background. Then we entered the dome. There’s a controller where you can control and view Santa’s high tech sleigh. Then with an app you use a phone or tablet to get special views into Santa’s workshop to see all the activity going on.
B also got to make his very own Elfie video which was emailed to us.
Then it was time to see Santa!
My son is 11, almost 12. Looking back through old photos I found B’s first visit with Santa…so sweet. Love having these special memories.
