Girls Night Out, Do-it Herself Workshop

By: Dana Michele

I’m always up for Girls Nights Out so when a girlfriend invited me to Home Depot’s Do-it Herself Workshop I said YES. Hanging out with girlfriends, creating something and learning some new skills. Home Depot host this event in their stores with a new project each month. Some stores run it hands-on style and others as a demo. March’s project was a vegetable stand and I thought it would be perfect to use on my patio for my herb and vegetable pots. It would also be a great vegetable stand for my pantry if I had more floor space.

They even let us use power tools and didn’t lose a finger (and I’m kidding a bit – I’ve built things before and have used power tools before)

The finished product!

I decided to paint it red using some paint I already had in the garage. Added some pots of herbs and peppers. Perfect!

This is not a sponsored post. I was invited by a girlfriend, had a blast, and wanted to share my experience. All opinions are my own.
