K-Cup Coffee and Tea Drawer Organization

By: Dana Michele

I’m a tea drinker. I didn’t drink coffee or tea until I reach my 40s. Most recently I’ve started to enjoy coffee. I keep both in the house for myself and guests. Recently I got a Keurig (used, so its an older model) and I’m in love. Owning a Keurig means owning an assortment of K-cups.

Keurig Coffee Station

In my kitchen, I have a coffee station with my Keurig and a mug tree holder. I used to keep coffee and tea in the cabinet above but space was tight. Where to store the K-cups? I didn’t like any the K-cup towers or drawers that go on the counter.

Create an organized K-cup Tea and Coffee drawer

My solution was to create a Tea and Coffee drawer. The drawer below the counter was a ‘junk drawer’ and wasn’t useful other than collecting junk. I moved a few needed items to my command center/mudroom and cleaned out the drawer.

But how to store the K-cups in the drawer? I didn’t want to just pour them loose in a basket – I’d never be able to find the one I want or know when I was about to run out of a favorite. I also wanted this organized so guests could easily help themselves.

Off to Amazon I went and was so excited when I found these acrylic K-cup inserts. They also make a Nespresso version.

I ordered two which fit nicely in my drawer and still allowed room for my loose teas, acrylic tea bag organizer, crystal sugar and tea accessories.

A perfectly organized spot makes me smile and this drawer does that. Organization simplifies life. Clutter is reduced. Money is saved because you don’t buy duplicates and can find what you already own.

I love this! It helps so much when a kitchen drawer is organized. Definitely sharing this. I didn’t know this product existed.
