As Christmas nears, we all get busier and more stressed. We need to remember the holidays are a time to enjoy the Christmas spirit and time with family and friends.
I’m busy. Being a self-employed single mom to an active 11-year old I feel like I’m going in a million directions.
After my divorce, I decided to stay in our family home. We bought the house when my son was a few months old and being a new home was able to customize it. The lot was perfect with a decent yard (well decent for a new community) and room for a pool. The house is large, much larger than we need for the two of us. We have 4 bathrooms, yes 4. I felt for stability for my son (and myself) staying in the home was the best choice. It is a lot to maintain and CLEAN! This is one of my major struggles with my decision.
Right before the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Southwest Maids came to clean my house. What a treat! My house hasn’t sparkled that much or smelled so good in a while. Yes, budgets are tight especially this time of year but its worth it.
As a treat to yourself this holiday season, hire a cleaning crew
- Will lower your stress by crossing one thing off your To Do List
- Huge Time saver! For me when I clean my house I get distracted and also start reorganizing, decorating or decluttering so cleaning takes me so much more time – does anyone else do this?
- You’ll want to invite more people over to your house. No worries about last minute invite because your home is cleaning. Afterall spending more time with friends and family is what the holiday season is all about.
- More me time. You deserve it. One of my goals has been to focus on myself. Do things for me. Be happy and thrive.
Everything just sparkled!
Want to spoil yourself even more? Go get a massage or your nails done while your house is being cleaned. You deserve it!
Southwest Maids is a new business in the Valley and they’re excited to take on Phoenix. Weekly, biweekly cleanings, give them a call (or even easier book right on their website). They also do Airbnb cleanings which I know there is a huge demand for right now. They bring their own cleaning supplies no need to do anything to prepare. All employees are background checked so that reassuring.
These smiling faces are the great people behind Southwest Maids.
Isn’t it the best going to sleep in a clean home. Though my son slept on top of his comforter because he said the bed has never been made so neatly and he didn’t want to mess it up, ha ha!
I love my kid more than anything. But he’s 11, plays baseball and loves to collect rocks and other nature finds. He has weekly chores including cleaning his bathroom. However, he just doesn’t see dirt and notice odors the same as I do. How to do boy’s bathrooms just get so smelly? After Southwest Maids’ visit for once, his bathroom smelled fresh and sparkled. Happy momma.
