Have a tween boy to shop for this holiday season? My son is 11, turning 12 right after Christmas, and this is one of the hardest years yet. That 10, 11, 12-year-old boy is a challenge. Not quite teenagers but have outgrown most toys.

– Nerf Guns. My son already has a large collection but every year it the first thing on his Christmas list. Nerf guns are also the most used toys in the house and I don’t see this ending anytime soon. He likes the smaller to mid-sized guns that are easier to run around the house in rather than the huge ones that are almost as big as him. When friends come over, battles start within minutes and bullets are to be found all over the house. Hint – bullets make great stocking stuffers.
– Starbucks gift card. The kids at my son’s school love to go to Starbucks – its the afterschool hangout place to be.
3. Instax Mini Instant Camera in Cobalt Blue. Because kids like to goof around.
4. Soundbot Bluetooth Beanie – keeps their head warm and they can listen to their tunes. And no excuse why they can’t answer a phone call from mom.
– Faux Fur Bean Bag Chair – My son loves soft and textures. A bean bag chair is perfect for lounging or using electronics. Easily portable so it can be moved from bedroom to TV room.
– Call of Duty WWII – Call of Duty is the hot game among my son’s friends.
– Ninja Cards 2.0 – My son has become obsessed with card throwing this past year. I find cards all over the house (along with Nerf bullets). When watching Toy Box recently we saw this game featured and he was freaking out. So I searched and excited to find the game already available for sale on the creator’s website.
– MLB Baseball hat. Boys and their hats. My son is an Arizona Diamondbacks fan (hometown team!!). He also prefers fitted.
– Selfie Light. Kids and their phones…selfie-obsessed.
– Funko POP Stranger Things Eleven. Funk POP figures have been popular for a few years now. Tweens (and adults) all seem to be loving Stranger Things. My son loves Eleven and put the POP Eleven figure on his list along with the Demogordan figure.
– iPhone X. The latest and greatest cell phone is probably on most tween’s holiday gift lists (and adults too, lol). Santa, please.
– Penny Portrait Kit My son is a collector of anything he finds on the ground including pennies. He loves coins and this looks like a fun, creative and educational activity.
– HP Sprocket Portable Printer. A fun and easy way for kids to print those photos they take with their phones.
– Nike slides. After baseball practice, around the house, easy to slip on shoes are a hit with tweens. Traditional black or go with a funky color combination.
– Metallic Converse Chuck Taylor Hightops. My son loves all things metallic. These Converse hightops are pretty cool.
– Laser X Game Set. At home laser tag, need I say more.
– Robe. Because our boys try to run around without clothes on at least they can throw a robe after a shower. You could also look into new Boys Fashion as the fashion trends are always changing, so you’re going to want to stay up-to-date.
– Wireless Speaker for a bike – These days my son spends a lot of his time on his bike and never wants to be away from his music. I don’t like him to wear headphones so that he can hear his surroundings so a bike speaker is a great option.
– Harry Potter Golden Snitch Clock – Pottery Barn just launched a Harry Potter line and it’s awesome. My son has loved the series for years and would love this clock.
– Slackline Kit. Does your tween want to be on American Ninja Warrier? Anything to keep the kids active is a win for me. Wishing we had two great trees for this in our backyard.
