Its the time of the year again! Decorating for Halloween is one of my favorites along with Christmas and Easter. This year I decided to simplify decorating a hallway table for Halloween and the rest of the house for fall (which can stay decorating for an extra month). Outside, of course, was all Halloween.
This is the first year I didn’t make any new decorations but I did use two of my favorites from last year – My skull and 31 boards. Both are painted boards with vinyl cut on my Silhouette. The Boo letters are from Target, skull from Homegoods, Owl from Hobby Lobby and candle holder from Michaels, all purchased a few years ago. I love using apothecary jars on my seasonal decor and filled it with skeleton bones.
The black mesh is from a dollar store – I love to use because you can drape furniture to make it spooky – over a table, draped across a mirror. The crates are from Micheals painted black – these are great for seasonal decorating and party buffets.
I’ve collected Department 56 village pieces for years. Most of my collection is Christmas Snow Village but more recently I’ve added a few Halloween pieces. Loves them! They even light up and play spooky music.
