How it works. Create an account on their website. Select how many servings you want, food preferences or food allergies. Home Chef then prepares and ships you the number of meals that you’ve ordered. The box arrives with the ingredients and recipe. You do need to add a few pantry staples for recipes such as oil, salt and pepper but everything else is included.
What’s on the menu? Shrimp with Tiger Sauce.
The recipe was super simple, quick and healthy. The portion sizes were generous.
Plus: I’ve tried other meal prep delivery services and the list of ingredients that needed to be chopped and prepped seemed to take forever. This list of ingredients and prep required was much more manageable for an easy weeknight meal.
All the ingredients arrived well packaged from and clearly marked. No trip to the grocery store needed. No waste of excess ingredients. No risk of realizing you’re out of an ingredient in the middle of cooking your meal.
