One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is the LIGHTS – love it. This Saturday, Downtown Tempe kicks off the holiday season with lights, lights and more lights. Fantasy of Lights Opening Night Parade AND the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
This parade is a 20-year tradition in Tempe. Floats, marching bands, and more. Santa will be there for visits and photos!
WHAT: A 20-year tradition. A parade filled with floats, marching bands and glittering lights followed by the tree lighting.
WHEN: The Fantasy of Lights Opening Night Parade starts at 6:00pm this Saturday, November 26. The Tree Lighting Ceremony occurs at the conclusion of the parade.
WHERE: The parade launches from Mill Avenue at Rio Salado, heads south on Mill, turns right on 7th street through Centerpoint Plaza and heads north on Maple where it concludes. Following the parade, the tree lighting takes place at Centerpoint Plaza.
