Angry Birds Birthday Cakes

Have you seen the new Angry Birds Movie? With the release of the movie, I’m seeing Angry Birds everywhere again – remember when the game first came out? My son was obssessed with the game and its one that he always seems to go back to. Love the new movie too.

For this week’s #SweetsSunday I’m featuring some Angry Birds inspired cakes I’ve made over the years. My speciality has always been buttercream iced cakes with fondant accents – yes, its iced with buttercream and only the characters and accents are fondant. The sling shots and wood planks are made from chocolate fondant so the cakes smell AMAZING. I always like to integrate the birthday child’s name and age into the design.
