Chili Pepper Festival

By: Dana Michele

I’m a foodie – I love to eat it, create it and learn about it. And I love a fun festival. The perfect combination – a food festival! Every town has annual festivals that they’re known for.

A few weeks ago we attended the Chili Pepper Festival at Phoenix Public Market in the Roosevelt Row part of central Phoenix – it was the perfect mix of food and fun.

Our favorite was St Francis‘ Chile Verde Pork – my son and I both went back for seconds.

And there were refreshing drinks too – margaritas and beer. Oh and water and lemonade too.

Next up? the Arizona Taco Festival. This is a much larger two day festival at Salt River Fields. Buy your tickets ahead of time to save money and avoid lines. Over 15 taco vendors including one of our favorites Gadzooks.

What’s your favorite food festival in your home town?
