Have you visited Sea Life Aquarium in Tempe? My son and I have visited several times over the years and I was very excited to receive an invitation to preview the new Octopus Hideout exhibit. The traveling exhibit opened March 20th and will be on display for the rest of 2015.
The new exhibit includes a Giant Pacific Octopus, Common and Dwarf Cuttlefish, Chambered Nautilus and a Peacock Mantis Shrimp. My favorite, besides the octopus, were the nautilus – just so unusual and mesmerizing to watch them move around the tank.
Have you visited an aquarium lately? Its such a great way to learn about some of the amazing animals that live in our oceans. Unless you scuba dive, you would otherwise never have the opportunity to observe some of these creatures.
