My son LOVES Rubio’s. We eat there quite frequently because there’s one close to our house and they’re allergy friendly (for me).
Our first Rubio’s stop was the original Rubio’s
My son is a big fan of the kid’s meals with taquitos and I ordered their new tilapia salad – it was dairy free with a few modifications and delicious!
Our second Rubio’s stop of the weekend was their test kitchen where they serve items that may make it out to all their restaurants soon.
We ordered the tortilla soup, some grilled fish tacos and the California bowl. Everything was fabulous and excited that the California bowl is now available here at home. I ordered the tortilla soup without cheese and the California Bowl without the chipotle white sauce so everything was dairy-free.
My son loved the soup so much that I couldn’t get a photo without his hand in the picture – he wouldn’t stop eating it.
