I have three holidays I love to decorate the house for: Easter, Halloween and Christmas. I think we have almost as many holiday bins for Halloween as we do for Christmas. I decorate some areas of the home with fall decorations (which stay up through Thanksgiving) and the rest Halloween.
I crafted two projects this year – the first is my black glittered crow yarn wreath inspired by a design I found online:
And the second is three Halloween embroidery hoops:
The hoops were really simple – just purchased some embroidery hoops, fabric and glittered spiders and put the fabric through the hoops, trimmed and hot glued the spiders.
Most of my decorations I’ve collected over the years at post Halloween clearance sales, HomeGoods and Dollar Tree. My splurge is my Department 56 Halloween village houses and figures. I crafted the BOO blocks last year and I bought the fabric pumpkins from a local crafter Chotchkies.
