I love to craft and as a mom of a boy sometimes you need to be creative in finding ways to craft things for them that they will love. Boys love to collect treasures and right now my son’s favorite treasure is special coins. He wanted a special place to keep some of his coins so I pulled out my husband’s old lock box and suggested we use my Silhouette to make it just for him.
One thing I love out the Silhouette is you can just go online and purchase a single image and use it right away. After we cut out the Keep Out and B’s Box text we searched for a skull and he picked out the pirate skull with swords. He also loves dragons so we used the dragon image I already had from Halloween for his ninja costume. His favorite color is gold and I had recently purchased some gold vinyl so he was so excited about this (its funny the things that kids love).
Since this box is for storing special coins I found an extra drawer organizer I had and we put that inside
One happy boy. And I used items we already had other than the $0.99 for the pirate skull image.
